Addis Ababa, June 17, 2010 (Addis Ababa) - Hillina Enriched Foods of Addis Ababa, Afran Kallo Union, Mercy Corps and the US Agency for International Development (USAID) signed an agreement to cooperate on the steady supply and safe production of the Ready to Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF).
The agreement was signed by Hilina Enriched Foods General Manager, Hillina Belete and seven representatives of the African Kallo Union, including Chairman Abdurahman Yuyo.
According to the agreement, the accord wills enable to make available ground nuts with adequate volume from Somalia State and East Hararge areas.
The agreement would enable to boost groundnut production.
The groundnut grown in Somali State and East Hararge areas are known for their size and taste.
